Just read the novel "The Shack" and wondered if there is anything that conflicts with Catholic teaching. I thought it was a wonderful book, but don't want to recommend it if it is problematic. Thanks and God bless you.

Dear Mary Alice, I have heard that it a a heart warming book and that is what many people look for in religion. But I think such a book does a disservice to the majesty of the Holy Trinity. The sense of awe at the majesty of God is no short supply today. We need that more than warm fuzzes. Dr. Geraghty |
