The Apacolypse of Peter
Question from Elaine Pominville on 1/31/2014:

Hello Father Geraghty:

Question: Has The Apacolyse of Peter III been dropped by the Catholic from the Bible sometime during the 3rd century?

I am currently a Protestant studying the Catholic Faith and learning so much from all the beautiful Saints.

Blessing to you, Elaine Pominville

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 2/16/2014:

Dear Elaine,

I know that the version we have of the Scriptures today was the one approved by the Church in the Fourth Century. As you know the Apocalypse of Peter was not in the selection. I have no idea of how all that happened. Does anyone out there know?

Dr. Geraghty
