Liturgical Color: Green

Today the Church honors St. Agnes of Assisi, virgin. Agnes was the sister of St. Clare of Assisi, and followed her to the convent at age 15. Under the direction of St. Francis of Assisi, she helped establish several convents in northern Italy.
