Good Friday
Question from Ana on 04-14-2014:
If Good Friday is the holiest day for Catholics, how come it's not a holy day of obligation?
Answer by Catholic Answers on 04-21-2014:
Ana--

Because Mass is not celebrated on Good Friday. On Good Friday there is only a Communion service. The holy day of obligation requirement is for attendance at Mass.
