Traveling together
Question from Anonymous on 09-21-2013:

My friend and I are considering traveling on a tour together. We are elderly and not sexually active. I am a widow; he is a widower. I am Catholic; he is not. We will not share a room unless it is a two-bedroom suite. A couple of friends consider this "scandalous." What is your opinion?

Answer by Catholic Answers on 09-22-2013:

It would be better to not even share a suite. Just get entirely separate accommodations. (By that I mean you can share a hotel, but not accommodations within the hotel.) But, other than that, I see nothing wrong with two friends of the opposite sex traveling together if they are not sharing living space.
