EWTN Catholic Q&A
Saints as guidance as we pray for our priest and bishops.
Question from Andrew Tucker on 05-31-2013:

Hey Judie,

Based on the current status of the Catholic Church in the U.S. and the rising concerns of many priests, bishops, and laymen not stepping up to the challenge in defending the faith, they could use a boost from saints like St. Francis of Assisi, St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, and St. Leonard of Port Maurice. These saints were definitely courageous in defending the faith in it's truest principle. Priests, Bishops as well as catholics in the U.S. could sure use some much needed courage now.

American Life League has established a website for prayer and fasting for our Bishops. On that website you will find a new saint posted weekly. Each saint was a Catholic Bishop who acted heroically, and in some cases was martyred. Weekly we post reflections on that particular saint, a prayer and other helpful tools in our war against the evils being perpetuated by Satan himself.
