Priests and daily prayer requirements

Judy I am sorry to post this question on the pro life topic category but with all other topic bins full I was hoping you could research and possibly find an answer. If not, of course that’s fine too.

Q:: Are there still daily prayer requirements for priests? Through My training and early curiosity about the priesthood, I recall that all ordained priests were required by their ordination to pray what was called “the office” I don’t see this mentioned anymore. If it is no longer required or ignored, that could explain a great deal about present conditions among the clergy. I recall Mother Theresa mentioning that neither her nor her sisters could do what they do without daily lengthy time praying in front of the Eucharist.

Such a shame that I don’t hear about this anymore.
