Wife of Eastern Rite Priest
Question from Joseph Apicella on 7/19/2017:

Is there a special form of address for the wife of a Eastern Catholic priest.

Answer by Robert Klesko on 7/21/2017:

Yes, there is a form of address for the wife of an Eastern Catholic priest. Among Greek Catholics it would be Presbytera (Pres—vee—té— ra). Among Ukrainian Catholics, Panimatushka (Pa—nee—má—toosh—ka), or Panimatka (Pa—nee—mát—ka). Russian Catholics - Matushka (Má—toosh— ka). At my Ruthenian parish we used Pani + first name.

Hope this helps! God bless!
