How often should a person examine their conscience? |
||||||||
Answer by Richard Geraghty on 10/28/2012: | ||||||||
Dear Anon, For most people it is once a day at night prayers. But scrupulous people should be careful because they can drive themselves crazy. They should seek the advise of their confessor. Of they don't have one, they should get one, thereby saving themselves a great deal of mental anguish. As far as the rest of us are concerned, a bit of anguish about the things we have done is a good thing. Dr. Geraghty |
