Who were the Fourteen Holy Helpers?

The Fourteen Holy Helpers was a group of saints revered in early times as particularly aiding Christians. They are: Acacius (June 22), Barbara (December 4), Blaise (February 3), Catherine of Alexandria (November 25), Christopher (July 25), Cyriacus (August 8), Dionysius of Paris (October 9), Erasmus (June 2), Eustace (September 20), George (April 23), Margaret (July 20), Pantaleon (September 1), Vitus (September 1) and Giles (September 1). This group of saints was also seen by St. Joan of Arc.
