The Hours - Episode 6

 

Chickpea Hummus

 

Be sure to use fresh lemon juice to enhance the flavor of this dip.

Can (19 oz/340 mL) Chickpeas, rinsed and drained 1
100% Pure Olive Oil 75 mL
Lemon juice 45 mL
Garlic cloves, minced 2
Unsweetened peanut butter 25 mL
Salt 2 mL
Chopped fresh parsley  


- In food processor combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic,
Mix until smooth

- Place in serving dish and garnish with parsley. Serve with pita chips.

PREPARATION TIME: 10 MINUTES
MAKES APPROX: 2 CUPS
