I've tried to live a grace-filled life. Our Lady, especially in the Miraculous Medal, is very special for me because 52 my mother was sick a long time ago and Our Lady, at that period of my life, became like a mother to me. And I dedicated myself to Our Lady, and through that, she's been watching over me in protecting me when my mother has not been there and when she has been there. And she's our spiritual mother for all of us as Christians. She protects us and helps lead us to what is good and what we need as children of her. 

Grace as the extra help that we need in order to deal with difficult aspects of our life. Say that we need fortitude, we ask for the grace of our Lord to get fortitude. 

And seeing places like this, we can get actual graces because our Lord has blessed these places, has said, as pilgrims, we go to these places to ask for our Lord's special grace, special help.

I think the most important message to get from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and St. Catherine Laboure is the Our Lady wants to pour the graces of God upon us and wants to draw us closer to Our Lord. And she is just waiting for us to as her, through her intercession, for these graces to draw close to Our Lord, to live a good Christian life, to be closer to God Our Father.
