Mitch Comments on the Life at Lourdes

It is to be there in see that these people live that life at Lourdes and it is the townspeople that are so devout and they show up for everything that's what touched me at Lourdes.

At Lourdes the way the townspeople were so devoted to the procession, the candlelight rosary, the daily mass, the silence on the grounds, how they volunteer with the sick and bring them everywhere is that really touched me. Because it is like in America and leaves from what I've seen so many towns are faith seems to come and go you know whenever it's convenient for us we show up at church because we feel like being there.

We are able to have daily Mass and so much of this pilgrimage has reminded me of the early Christians . They would love to be with one another but the heart of it was the Mass able to come together and have Mass and they would break bread.

You know they didn't just sit at home and say, "You all come to church. You all come over here to meet us." No, they went out and got them and that's what it's been it's going out and experiencing God in the Church in all forms.
