Kevin: It began pretty much with Life on the Rock. I was with Jeff and talked about the upcoming pilgrimage, and we invited people to apply to come on the pilgrimage. And once the people had been selected, they got in touch with one another via e-mail. But really the first time for us to meet one another was at the airport.

Rebecca: And speaking of that meeting, that has to be an experience when you think, "Wow! Come with these people for the next two weeks...I'd better like them...I don't know about this."

Diana: I think right before the pilgrimage, like the night before, packing, going, "What am I doing? I'm nuts that I want to go on this." But honestly, beforehand, Jeremy got the ball rolling, e-mailing everybody off of something the producer had sent to us. He took everybody e-mails and said, "I don't have I'm supposed to be lifting e-mail addresses, but hey guys, this is who I am. This is why I want to go on this pilgrimage." It just started this chain, that everybody was like, "Well, since he did it, let me tell you a little bit about myself." Provided timely actually got together, a lot of this new each other pretty well. I could not wait to meet Jeremy because he had e-mail from us a month. I wasn't hesitant at all. That was the most exciting thing to me, different people from different parts of the United States, the backgrounds, their names, where they came from, where they want to go, so that was exciting for me. I like new adventures and new people.
