Feast Day: September 7

 

Martyr from Aquileia, near modern Venice, Italy. A fuller or cloth merchant, Anastasius moved to Salona in Dalmatia, Yugoslavia. There he painted a cross on teh door of his shop and was speedily arrested and drowned.
