<title>EWTN: The Good Fight - 2/6/2010</title>
<link>http://ewtn.edgeboss.net/download/ewtn/multicast/audio/mp3/gf26.mp3</link>
<description>Hosted by Barbara McGuigan with guest Susan Andrews Brindle and Miriam Andrews Lademan: Today's Saint is St. Therese. Her reflections on suffering provide an insight into suffering. She never sought Our Lord's consolations, but instead sought to console Him. How could Our Lord still be suffering if from the Cross He said "It is finished"? His sufferings in his human body, which He crafted from Our Lady's did indeed finish on the Cross when He completed Our Father's Will for Him. However, His sufferings continue in His body, His spiritual body, the Church. St. Paul first received this light from Christ when He asked Him "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" Our sufferings continue His mission of salvation. He is immediately present in all human sufferings. Even the unspeakable suffering of the Holocaust victims, continued the salvific Passion of Our Lord and contributed to their salvation. Today, on the Good Fight, the dynamic duo Susan Andrews Brindle and Miriam Andrews Lademan, rejoin us. They share with us why Therese is special for them, the special influence of a good and holy priest in their lives, Fr. McLean Cummings, as well as some of their great books and illustrations.</description>
