Local motels offer special rates for pilgrims visiting EWTN and the Shrine. Since it takes approximately one hour to one and a half hours to travel between the Network and the Shrine, you may wish to plan on spending the days that you visit the Shrine at a motel in the Hanceville area, and your days visiting the Network at a motel in the Irondale area. Be sure to identify yourself as an EWTN pilgrim to receive special pilgrim rates.
