Father Mark entered religious life in March of 1994 and was ordained a priest in October 2003. He grew up in Huntsville Alabama and attended the Colorado School of Mines. He earned a B.S. in Engineering Physics and worked for two years in Huntsville for a small company that specialized in defense contracts for the government. Father Mark is currently the Novice Master and chaplain for EWTN. He is currently host of Life on the Rock.
Sister was terrific on the “Life on the Rock” and gave a great post show interview. In the vlog interview, she gives us the statistics on today’s consumerism that so profoundly affects the youth and on the distorted message we can sometimes receive from the culture. She also speaks of her own spiritual journey and the practices she does today to maintain her own spiritual life. We also talked about some of the teachings of John Paul’s Theology of the Body; God’s plan for marriage; and about the gift of celibacy. Sister Miriam James has great insights into issues which affect us all, and she speaks from her own experience and inner healing from broken aspects of her life.
