ROME, NOV. 6, 2000 (ZENIT.org).- Bishop Daniel Reilly of Worcester, Massachusetts, canceled the large debt accumulated by
parishes, schools, and priests, with the diocese.
The bishop linked his decision with the Jubilee Year. "I hope this initiative will contribute to make priests and parishes address the
challenges they face with renewed vigor," the bishop told the diocesan weekly bulletin.
