LOCATION OF JOB:
Executes the editing of video material for a production, promotional and/or marketing piece. Includes set up and operation of all editing equipment, video, and audio sources to provide quality broadcast programming.
Coordinates with producers on a specific project.
Works directly with writer/producer or from scripted pre-formatted materials to perform editorial functions resulting in satisfactory project completion.
3. Operates all equipment necessary to complete editing assigned task (videotape machines, Avid, computer editors, DVE, switchers, CG. audio, etc.)
Ensures all projects completed in a timely manner, meeting all existing technical and stylistic protocols.
Regular and prompt attendance.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, or equivalency in technical training
- Experience in and multiple tape formats
- Posses a minimum of three years experience in broadcast or cable TV production programming.
