| MERCEDES FOR WORK OF JUBILEE VOLUNTEERS |
ROME, JAN 12 (ZENIT).- The Roman Agency for the Jubilee signed an agreement with the
U.S.-German firm Daimler-Chrysler, which will make 35 cars available for services during the
Jubilee in Rome. The cars include 20 "Smart" vehicles, well adapted to Roman traffic, and 15
Mercedes, 6 of which are mini-buses. One of these is a veritable office on wheels, including
telephone and fax. The vehicles are being made available to volunteers who are responsible for
welcoming and assisting the millions of pilgrims expected this year in the Eternal City to celebrate
the Jubilee. |
