Holy Father |

| Holy Father Pope John Paul II, I love you very much. I was only 6 years old when you became our pope...and I am eternally thankful to God that in the past few years I have come to love you deeply as the representative of Christ on earth, a descendant of dear St. Peter. I saw you when I was a little girl...and thank God that in my lifetime I have actually seen a living saint. My heart leaped when the people during your funeral chanted in Italian "Santo Subino"..."Saint Soon". I pray that I would still be alive when that day comes. I have always dreamed of visiting the Vatican at least once in my lifetime...to catch a glimpse of you but now that you are home in heaven, I will always remember you in my heart. I will never forget you Pope John Paul II...I will never forget your tender love for us...I will never forget your traditional teachings, your promotion of the culture of life. I was moved so much when I saw that clipping when you were proclaimed pope. In my littlest way, dear Holy Father, I will try to live a life in closest imitation of Christ & Mother Mary because you have modeled the way. I know that you will continue to pray for us. You are St. John the Great to me & soon the Church will proclaim that. I have watch you in EWTN shows showing the times when you were young, as a young pope then to being a persevering pope to the very last. I cannot express in words how much I love you Holy Father & how much I miss you. I GIVE PRAISE & THANKSGIVING TO THE HOLT TRINITY FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT FOR THE GIFT OF YOU TO US. Ciao Holy Father! Ciao! But it never is goodbye is it? You are just as there as when you walked on earth. Now you are even a more powerful intercessor in heaven. I say goodbye to your earthly form but your spirit is in every Catholic Church, in every heart & soul of us all who love you. Our human part says goodbye to you but our spirit never says goodbye because how do you say goodbye to someone who in communion with us on earth. Being the human that I am let me say...Ciao Holy Father! Ciao for now! | ||
