Now It Begins
Papa our hearts are heavy with the loss of you but our souls rejoice for now we have a great saint in heaven. Now begins our task of carrying out what you have instructed us from the begining to do. Now begins our job of spreading the TRUTH of the gospel without fear or reservations. You have given us in writing, through your speeches, and by your example the tools we need to follow Christ without fear. To stand up for TRUTH in the darkness of the culture of death that surrounds us. We are your youth dear papa. We are your young adults. We are the workers who are now sent to the vineyard to live the gospel and proclaim the truth through our actions to all we encounter. Our training under your guidence continues through your words that have been preserved but we are now obliged to continue your work. To reach out to all who have been deceived by the lies of this world and share the message that you shared with us and continually echoed throughout your life, Be not afraid to live according to God's will. Truth is truth wether the year is 386BC or 2258AD, for God never changes. The morals of society may change but that does NOT make something evil true and good. Christ never said following Him was easy. In fact He said life would be even more difficult but the rewards were greater. Rose gardens are hard work. You can't enjoy the perfume and color of the roses unless you work to fight the weeds, insects, and frost. You must prune, fertilize, and water your garden. Ask anyone who has ever had a garden of any type. The work is hard but the rewards are great. You helped us learn how to tend our rose gardens of life dear papa, but now we must take over the work and keep the seeds of truth growing and spreading so that your life will not have been in vain and so that we too may be able to say AMEN when we are called home at the end of our days. May you be raised to the heights of sainthood within our church quickly. May everyone whose life you have touched bare fruit for God our Hevenly Father. May we be able to say to Mary our mother, TOTUS TUUS, so that she can give our small nothingness to her Son for His greater glory. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace. AMEN ALEJLUJA
