Dear representative of the Vatican and the whole Church in the world.
I want to acknowledge that our Xaverian Missionary community of Wayne, NJ and other parts of the USA we had been praying for the the eternal repose of Our Beloved Pope John Paul II and for the future one to be elected soon.
There is a feeling of emptiness when we celebrate the Mass and arrive the point of the Eucharistic prayer praying for the Pope...and we are to say, for the bishops and cardinals of the church and for our local bishop Arthur of Paterson diocese, NJ.
I saw in every church around where I went a visible and proheminent picture of the Holy Father where the faithful can offer prayers and tears and deposit their hearts sorrows and desires too.
I want to assure of our prayers and support on the work of the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughtout the world.
United in prayers and in Christ Jesus.
I remain yours,
Fr. HFernandes, s.x.
